Turmeric Chia Latte’

½ cup Fresh Turmeric (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Cardamom Pods (whole)
2 teaspoons Cloves (whole)
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Teabags Orange Pekoe
2 Tablespoons Local Honey
2 Cups Steamed Whole Milk
Sprinkle Ground Turmeric  for Garnish

 

Bring water, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and add tea bags to pot, let rest for 10 -12 minutes.

Using a fine mesh strainer pour liquid into a heat resistant container.

Add steamed milk to each cup and garnish with a sprinkle of Turmeric.

Makes about 4 small tea cups.
